Connecting a store is what makes orders appear in SellersGo. It is a one-time authorization per store: you tell SellersGo which marketplace you sell on, then approve SellersGo on the marketplace's own sign-in page.
Where: Settings → Stores
Before you start
You need the login for the marketplace seller account you want to connect — the account that owns the listings, not a personal buyer account.
If you have more than one Amazon store, sign out of all of them in your browser first. Amazon authorizes whichever account is currently signed in. This is the single most common cause of "I connected the wrong store".
Connecting a store requires store management permission. If Connect Store is missing or greyed out, your role does not include it.
Connect a store
Go to Settings → Stores and click Connect Store.
Store step — choose Amazon or Etsy.
Detail step — enter a Name for the store. This is your internal label; pick something you will recognize in a filter dropdown six months from now, like "Etsy – Leather Goods" rather than "Store 2".
For Amazon, also pick the Marketplace region the store sells in — United States, Canada or Mexico.
Authorization step — click Connect Now. You are taken to Amazon's or Etsy's sign-in page.
Sign in on the marketplace and approve access.
You are returned to SellersGo and see Connection Successful. The new store now appears in the Store List.
Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. SellersGo uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
If the connection fails
You will see Connection Error — An error occurred during the connection, please try again. Work through these in order:
Wrong account signed in — sign out of the marketplace entirely in your browser, then start the connection again from step 1.
Authorization was cancelled — if you closed the marketplace tab or clicked Deny, no connection is created. Start again.
Insufficient marketplace permissions — on Amazon, the account must have seller API access. A user account with limited permissions inside Seller Central can complete the sign-in but fail the authorization.
Still failing? Start a chat from Support and tell us which marketplace and roughly what time you tried — that lets us find the failed handshake.
A failed attempt does not leave a broken store behind. If you see a duplicate or half-created store in the list, delete it and retry.
Store settings
Click any row in the Store List to open Edit Store.
Alias Name — the display name used across SellersGo — order lists, filters, reports. Change this freely; it does not affect the marketplace.
Store Status — Active or Inactive. Inactive stops the store from being offered in dropdowns without deleting its history.
Warehouses — which warehouse locations this store may ship from. A store with no warehouse assigned cannot get shipping rates.
Default Warehouse — pre-selected as the ship-from address for this store's orders. Set this and the Buy Label screen fills itself in.
Packaging Attachment File — a PDF automatically included when you download the label and slip for this store's orders — a returns policy, a thank-you insert, care instructions.
Save with Save. You will see Store Updated Successfully.
Store status and the On/Off toggle
The On/Off column in the store list toggles the store's active state directly. You will be asked to confirm: "You are about to change the status of this store!"
Turning a store off does not delete orders, products or reports already pulled in. It stops the store from appearing as a target in new work.
Delete a store
Use the delete action in the store row. You will be asked "Do you want to delete {store} store?"
Deleting a store is not the way to pause it — use Store Status for that. Delete only when you have genuinely stopped selling on that channel.
What happens after connecting
Orders start flowing in from that store. Only orders placed after the connection are synced; historical orders are not backfilled.
Products from the store's listings appear under Products, where you map them to your internal products and properties. See "Products, listings and inventory".
The store becomes selectable in every Filter by Store dropdown across Orders, Reports and Dashboards.
Frequently asked questions
Can I connect the same marketplace twice? Yes. Multiple Amazon stores and multiple Etsy shops are all supported. Give each a distinct Alias Name so filters stay readable.
Why do no orders appear after connecting? Give the first sync a few minutes. Then check that the store is Active, and use Refresh Orders on the Orders page. If the store genuinely has no orders placed since the connection time, that is expected — SellersGo does not import past orders.
What is Inventory Control in the store list? It shows whether stock levels for this store's listings are tracked in SellersGo. Stock is managed under Products → Inventory.
Do I need to reconnect when my marketplace password changes? No. The authorization is a token, not your password. You only need to reconnect if you revoke SellersGo's access from inside the marketplace.
